Teens/Tweens: Ever wanted to create your own stop motion film? Well, now you can! Come to the library on Thursday, July 16th at 6pm for a workshop on all things stop motion animation!
Presented by Alex Thomas & Friends Animation and Puppetry, this hour-long workshop will have participants collaborate to craft a series of animated scenes, bringing their ideas to life through fun and hands-on activities. The summer reading 2026 theme will feature exciting dinosaur characters and a prehistoric setting, inspiring imaginations to roar with adventure. Each participant will receive a free DVD of their completed animations, making it easy to share and showcase their work. Perfectly suited as an engaging STEAM program, this workshop sparks imagination, encourages teamwork, and introduces essential concepts of animation and storytelling.
